Shipping to USA recommences
Share
Just a quickie, but just a heads up to say that shipping to the USA has restarted.
If you're in the USA and place an order from now on, you will (or should) see an extra line on the cart subtotal titles 'Duties' - this will be 10% or 15% of the order total, dependent on where the goods were manufactured.
What this should mean is when I ship goods to the USA, I'll use a Duty Delivery Paid (DDP) service, which collects the duties on my behalf, stores this data in the delivery information I provide, and facilitates smooth sailing through customs USA-side.
That's the theory anyway, in practise there may be some teething problems as this whole thing is an absolute mess - so bear with me (and our respective authorities) should anything go awry in the short-term!
